Updates…a long time coming.
So it’s been awhile but, briefly, here is what has been going on with Otto:
- Microchipped - Very cooperative because I let him eat on a Natural Balance roll while they did it.
- Neutered - This past Monday. I wish I had taken a picture of his droopy red eyes after he woke up from surgery. His stitches get taken out next Wednesday. It has been really sad/difficult to keep him crated most of this week. No one told him that he had surgery I guess because he has been trying to play like he doesn’t have stitches. Poor guy. I’ve frozen a thousand bones with wet food in them to give him something to do. He loves them so much he will voluntarily “kennel up” when he sees them.
- AKC Puppy Star- He passed his test Wednesday! If we send in his form he can get certificate and some other frame-able stuff. He got all sorts of treats as a reward including a stuffed mallard that makes great duck sounds when you squeeze it.
